Here is the 1940's tax photo of 175 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn. It was a grand old building and still is. According to Gus, who used to own Tom's Restaurant on Washington Avenue, the sister of the Queen of Romania used to live here.

Washington Avenue's Friendly Shoplifter
On the door of Color Brooklyn, a hipster gift and crafts shop on Washington Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, the frustrated owners have posted a picture of their "friendly neighborhood shoplifter," who likes electronics. The woman appears to be in her mid-20s and has a sociopathic smile.

The poster hangs on the door, next to the uber-hip baby DJ class flyer.
